Although many areas of the Prairies experienced significant drought, timely rains in some regions of Alberta resulted in satisfactory crop production.  Unfortunately, this moisture also promoted disease development in some crops.  An overview will be provided of the main disease issues observed in 2023 as well as an indication of what may happen in 2024.  Key management tips will also be provided for some of the more problematic disease issues.
