Jamie Christie is a fourth-generation farmer who farms with his family in the Trochu/Three Hills area and grows barley, canola, peas, and wheat. Jamie was a co-operator and steering committee member with the Controlled Traffic Alberta research project from 2010-2016 through this Jamie transitioned the entire farm to implement controlled traffic farming into an existing zero-till operation. Currently, Jamie is including varying degrees of tillage to manage heavy residues, soil incorporation of lime and gypsum, and spot treatments for varied soil conditions.
