Charmaine is the Regional Agronomy Leader (Alberta) for Cargill Ltd. She holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Biology from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, and a M.Sc. in Crop Improvement from the University of Nottingham, UK.

Charmaine grew up in Kingston, Jamaica where she began her career in agriculture. Her areas of focus have included regulatory affairs (local and international), environmental policy and management, product development and of course, agronomy. She has had the pleasure of working with some of Jamaica’s most notable exports such as Blue Mountain coffee and Appleton Rum.

Charmaine currently lives in Calgary but returns to Jamaica each year for an “irie” Christmas.
