Provincial weed surveys have been conducted since the 1970’s in Alberta. The most recent survey, in 2023, included a total of 1121 fields of annual crops including spring wheat, canola, barley, field pea, durum, oat, and lentil.  The presentation will highlight the Alberta 2023 weed survey results, identifying shifts in weed species’ ranks and relative abundance over time.
