I operate a dry land and irrigated farm with my wife Laurel and 2 employees near Carmangay, Alberta. Graduating from U of Alberta Agriculture in 1985, I've always been interested in conservation farming, and have a lifelong interest in trying to do things better. I grow a variety of crops, and am currently in a 5 year crop rotation, but am always looking for new ways to sustainably and profitably increase the diversity of my rotation. I've always been keenly interested in improving the way we do things in farming. Soil health has dramatically improved on our farm over the last several decades. I have served on many Agriculture Boards over the years, and am currently with the Alberta Pulse Growers and Pulse Canada.
