Craig Lester is the Project Coordinator for the Blue Book, Alberta’s Crop Protection Guide, collaboratively produced by Alberta Canola, Alberta Grains, and Alberta Pulse Growers. Craig enjoys connecting people, ideas and resources and believes the best place to do that is in agriculture. He is the owner of Rural Roots Canada, an agriculture communications and media business and is a 2023 Nuffield Canada Scholar. Having grown up on a mixed agricultural operation in Rolling Hills in southern Alberta, he understands the importance agriculture and food plays in society, which furthers his passion to tell the ag community’s story.
