Description

Insecticide resistance is an emerging issue on the Canadian Prairies. Loss of insecticide active ingredients and increasing use of existing products has increased pressure on available active ingredients. To date, few species of insects on the Prairies have demonstrated some form of insecticide resistance/tolerance; however, insecticide resistance management plans should be considered in all operations. In this session, species of concern and insecticide resistance management considerations will be highlighted.
