Wim is an Agriculture Canada research scientist working at the Agassiz Research and Development Centre in Agassiz, British Columbia. He has worked in vegetable and field crop pest management since 2003, mostly on soil insects (wireworms, cabbage root maggots, corn rootworms). He has a special interest in understanding pest biology and behaviour, and using this knowledge to develop new monitoring tools and effective, low-risk management practices
