Wim van Herk is an Agriculture Canada research scientist, working at the Agassiz Research and Development Centre, in Agassiz, BC. He has worked in vegetable and field crop pest management since 2003, mostly on wireworms and click beetles and cabbage root maggots. He has a special interest in understanding insect biology and behaviour, in order to develop effective, environmentally-safe pest management practices.
