Jeff Schoenau is a professor and professional agrologist in the Department of Soil Science at University of Saskatchewan. He holds the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture Chair in Soil Nutrient Management. His teaching and research deal with soil fertility and fertilizer management, nutrient cycling, prairie cropping systems and soil management practices. He has been involved with soils and crops research for 40 years and grew up on a grain farm near Central Butte, SK where he also farms with his spouse Lynne.
